- Interesting. Actually we use SQL Alchemy without the ORM so the session is not used. But do you have any idea what will happen if you have more than one connections e.g. pool_size=2. If I understand correctly the docs, in this case if one of the connections dies/hangs/crashes when you try to make the query, SQLAlchemy will try with the other one.
